DALLAS, TX—"If you miss this show, you miss heaven," said a singer and writer, Ms. Black, of the Divine Performing Arts 2009 World Tour presentation held February 4 at the Eisemann Center, Richardson.

"It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve seen. It’s like seeing heaven, truly divine," Ms. Black kept repeating. "Very beautiful. Do not miss it, if you miss this show, you miss heaven. It’s that beautiful."

DPA brings to life ancient Chinese values and traditions in dance, music, song and storytelling founded upon China's divinely inspired culture.

Internationally-acclaimed performers, exquisite costumes, stunning background scenes, thunderous drumming sequences and a full orchestra of Eastern and Western composition, transports audiences through the ages and into the China of today.

"I have never seen a show in my entire life," said Ms. Black, 58. "This is beautiful, exquisite, it makes my heart open like a flower, it is so beautiful."

An admirer of Chinese culture, Ms. Black said she has benefited a great deal from Chinese healing methods, acupuncture and medicinal herbs, and was emotional the first time he laid eyes on the beauty of an intricately carved box.

"The first time I saw a box carved from China, I burst into tears because it was so beautiful. Your culture is so ancient, wise, gentle, and so patient when the people of compassion are in charge. I just can’t believe this joy, this experience," she enthused.

Ms. Black is a singer and also a public speaker. She said she had recently finished a book that took 12 years to write, saying the book will soon be made into a movie under the direction of a famous film producer.
